Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Manali to Palchhani Thatch via Dhundi

  • Leave from Manali at 8:00 am and Drive 14 km to Dhundi (1.5 hours)
  • Trek 1.5 km from Dhundi to Palchhani Thatch (1 hour), Altitude gain from 9,317 ft to 10,134 ft, Drop off cloakroom bag and collect rentals en route
  • Arrive at first campsite by 2:30 pm and have lunch and Stay overnight in tents at Palchhani Thatch

Day 2: Palchhani Thatch to Lohali

  • Trek from Palchhani Thatch to Lohali (4 km, 4-5 hours)
  • Moderate to steep ascent throughout the trek
  • Altitude gain from 10,134 ft to 11,050 ft

Day 3: Lohali to Beas Kund and Lady Leg, trek to Bakarthatch/Lohali

  • Trek from Lohali to Beas Kund and Lady Leg, then to Bakarthatch/Lohali (5 km, 7-8 hours)
  • Steep ascent all the way to the summit
  • Altitude gain from 11,050 ft to 12,772 ft and back

Day 4: Bakarthatch/Lohali to Dhundi, then drive to Manali

  • Trek from Bakarthatch/Lohali to Dhundi (4 km, 5-6 hours)
  • Easy descent, mostly downhill and Altitude loss from 11,050 ft to 9,317 ft
  • Drive back cost: as per vehicle to be shared by trekkers and Arrive back in Manali by 1:00 pm
  • Book a return flight/train ticket from Chandigarh or Delhi

  • You will be staying in tents on all days of the trek
  • The distance between campsites may vary by 100 meters depending on weather conditions and route taken
  • Altitude may vary by 100 feet for similar reasons
  • Trekkers must carry a copy of their photo ID for entry at forest check posts on the trek.
